Workout Wednesday

Hey y'all!

Alrighty, I gotta be honest, today I work 9-2 and then again from 6-10 so I knew I was not going to be able to workout besides walking my brother to school and then walking back home. So I decided today's post would just be about what food I was eating and how healthy that was.

Meals Today:

Breakfast: Eggs with veggies & oatmeal with brown sugar & milk & a grande pike place roast from Starbucks with sugar and skim milk

Lunch: Lean Cuisine Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry

Snack: Margherita Flatbread from Chili's

Dinner: Pizza :( (I knoooow, I was doing so well, but I was tired when I got home)

I also drank a ton of water because, as you know, water really fills you up and so I always try and drink a ton everyday. Usually, if i get a big glass of water, I can just stick a straw into it and then it's gone in a matter of minutes and I can get my day's daily dose of water iiiin about a couple of hours.

I am really trying to be more healthy y'all, but it is not an easy feat. I know, I know, the fact that I'm living at home should not limit me, I should still be able to be healthy, but really, I hate cleaning, especially after cooking, and it is just too expensive for me to be buying my own groceries. Plus, I usually work at such odd hours that I'm so freakin' tired and I don't want to do anything but watch YouTube videos or read something while curled up in my bed. (a.k.a. I am super freakin' lazy)

So here is my attempt. For sure starting in January, just like everybody else, I will be working out, and really trying to make an effort. Yes, I should be starting right around now but I can't. Especially with this next week I'm working a bunch of hours and there's just no time unless I wanna start going into sleep-deprivation mode which is not a pretty Trina, y'all. I promise.

Hope you had a great Wednesday! Work out extra hard in the gym for me, lovelies :)

Trina

#BikiniSeries

Holy crackers.

First off, I didn't realize it's been almost 2 months since my last post.

Augh.

I apologize whole-heartedly for that. I will really try from now on to make more of an effort for this blog :)

Secondly, I write this blogpost tonight to say that I am starting a new fitness plan! To be honest, I really have always been on this fitness plan. I just haven't been completely and totally on top of everything. The fitness plan I'm talking about is Tone It Up by Karena & Katrina. These girls are AH-MAZING and I absolutely love them. I've been following their website for about... eh, 4 years now, and I love them to bits and pieces.

These girls are so inspiring and I just love doing their workouts and videos. Now why on earth would I not be able to keep up? Well, the answer is simple, in fact...

I'm pretty freakin' lazy.

There, I've confessed a deep, dark secret of mine. (Just kidding. Anyone who's seen my room can attest to the truth of that statement.)

Being super lazy is really, really hard to get over. I mean, I actually struggle daily with getting up and cleaning or doing laundry, or something else equally productive over just being on my laptop and

While I am only a poor, broke college kid, I have not yet been able to attain the sweetness of the Tone It Up Nutrition Program but I would really, really like to one day be a member. It shall happen. I will ensure of it. Anyways, that's the diet plan to follow along but I pretty much just stick with their motto of Lean, Clean and Green when I can. That's another issue I've always had with my health.

The food.

Oh gosh, I just love food, man.

It's so. freakin'. good.

Not to say I'm deathly sick or anything when I mention "my health." I'm just saying I kinda eat more junk than necessary. I'm really hoping to change that but it gets hard when you're still living with your parents and you don't really have a lot of say in what exactly is made for dinner (breakfast/lunch/snacks etc.). I try really hard to watch what I eat and to drink a lot of water.

That being said, I didn't drink that much today. Only one full water bottle :( Oh well, there's always tomorrow. I'll be trying to do at least weekly blogposts about progress and everything. If you'd like to join me on my magical journey to looking even more fabulous, please come and see me at the Tone It Up Community. The girls there are superduper friendly and adorable and gorgeous and I love everyone on there even though they probably have no idea who I am.

Hope this sheds some light on anything you were thinking and I really do hope everyone out there tries to be super healthy. That's really all any of us can do :)

Laterz,

Trina

Workout Wednesday

Hey y'all!!

Well, I'm in the mood for blogging now, who knew? I guess it can kinda be addicting... Oh well, I decided to start off Workout Wednesdays!!! Now, I'm sure y'all don't know, but I have been on a very long fitness journey and hopefully, I'll be able to post some before/after pics before next summer! Anyways, this is what I did today:

For Toning (Blogilates Videos):

  • Bikini Blaster 7: Bodacious Back & Arms
  • Tricep Toner
  • Victoria's Secret Angel Arms
  • Back on Fire
  • Backless Dress Workout
I usually just follow Blogilates/Tone It Up calendars because sometimes I get lazy and most of the time I actually can follow them. Unfortunately, I couldn't do TIU's workout today cause it was with a kettlebell... And I do not own one :/ Uh, truth, I just didn't want to. My legs I feel are something I don't need to work really hard on so I usually don't do extra leg workouts. But ohhh man, my shoulders and back.... They. Are. SORE.

Cardio: 3 mile bike ride (which counts as 1 mile walking/running)

What I Ate:

  • Breakfast - 1/2 a chocolate chip muffin & 1 banana
  • Lunch - Leftover fried rice & beef with veggies from my chinese dinner last night
  • Dinner - Caldo, which is a Mexican/Spanish soup that is basically meat & veggies.
Water Intake: 32 oz today. With my water intake, I'm really trying to drink at least 2x my body weight in water as 75% of your body is made of water. Plus, I'm usually really thirsty so drinking water is a good thing. I do sometimes have days, like today, where I don't drink as much as I should....

And that was pretty much my day today. I'll probably talk about how sore I am tomorrow... :/

What did you do today, this Workout Wednesday?? Lemme know in the comments below.

Thanks for stopping by!
