Workout Wednesday

Hey y'all!

Alrighty, I gotta be honest, today I work 9-2 and then again from 6-10 so I knew I was not going to be able to workout besides walking my brother to school and then walking back home. So I decided today's post would just be about what food I was eating and how healthy that was.

Meals Today:

Breakfast: Eggs with veggies & oatmeal with brown sugar & milk & a grande pike place roast from Starbucks with sugar and skim milk

Lunch: Lean Cuisine Chicken Teriyaki Stir-Fry

Snack: Margherita Flatbread from Chili's

Dinner: Pizza :( (I knoooow, I was doing so well, but I was tired when I got home)

I also drank a ton of water because, as you know, water really fills you up and so I always try and drink a ton everyday. Usually, if i get a big glass of water, I can just stick a straw into it and then it's gone in a matter of minutes and I can get my day's daily dose of water iiiin about a couple of hours.

I am really trying to be more healthy y'all, but it is not an easy feat. I know, I know, the fact that I'm living at home should not limit me, I should still be able to be healthy, but really, I hate cleaning, especially after cooking, and it is just too expensive for me to be buying my own groceries. Plus, I usually work at such odd hours that I'm so freakin' tired and I don't want to do anything but watch YouTube videos or read something while curled up in my bed. (a.k.a. I am super freakin' lazy)

So here is my attempt. For sure starting in January, just like everybody else, I will be working out, and really trying to make an effort. Yes, I should be starting right around now but I can't. Especially with this next week I'm working a bunch of hours and there's just no time unless I wanna start going into sleep-deprivation mode which is not a pretty Trina, y'all. I promise.

Workout Wednesday

Hey y'all!

It is now the 3rd week of #Septonber and I'm still going strong! Diet-wise... Well, that's a whole 'nother story but at least exercise-wise, I've kind of hit a routine and am making time for it instead of pushing it off to the side.

Today's videos consisted of:

Again, I am so not loving Wednesdays for this month's calendar. I'm getting through them though! Today, I had to pause for a couple of them but I've at least made progress. I can go for much longer and not everything has to be done on my knees or in a beginner's modification.

My favorite video today was probably Hearbeat Heaven, which is crazy, but I really like the last move. You roll around on the floor but I think it's so much fun. Cassey kills me everytime, no matter what day it is. I'm waiting for the day that I can get through the videos and not want to completely die after.

I did take my brother to school again and then I had to bike again to go pick him up cause it's sporadically raining over here. So on a cardio day, I added more cardio. Ugh. Okay, well, see y'all tomorrow for T.V. Thursday! I'm soooo excited :)

Workout Wednesday

Hey y'all!

So sorry for going MIA these past few weeks. Hopefully, I can get back on track now. It is the second week of #Septoneber and I currently have been doing pretty well on the monthly calendar! I'm so proud of myself for that.

Today was Hump HIIT Wednesday. I have to say this though... I hate cardio. Despise it. I wish I never had to do it but I totally understand that to kill fat cells, cardio needs to be done. I just desperately want to never have to do it. Maybe if I ate super healthy all the time, I wouldn't have to do it. As I still live with my parents at the moment, that is not the case and won't be for a while.

Whoops, I forgot to mention. This month, I'm doing Cassey Ho's regular monthly workout schedule instead of the beginner's. You can find all about her at her website linked here. I highly recommend her as a trainer as she has recipes and plenty of different videos that target different body areas you'd like to tight and tone.

As you can probably imagine, today was really hard. I hate cardio and so it takes me a while to do these. I had to drop off my little brother at school today, as usual, and so I woke up early and was able to fit in at least one video before having to stop to freshen up and get ready for work. On days that I have work early, I try to do as much before work as I can but can usually fit in only one or two videos before I have to stop in order to give myself enough time. I hate to say it, but I take forever to get ready. It's a problem.

So, after work (it was only a 10-2 shift as I work retail), I came home, changed, took off my makeup and then finished the other three videos. It took a while, again, and I just ended up pausing when I needed to. I also drank plenty of water before, during and after the workouts. I was pretty good on water intake. I'm not always the best, so I try to fix that when I can.

So that seems to be about everything for this post. Should I also include food or something?? I've been making progress, you can check that out at my Instagram or even talk to me on my Twitter. Workout Wednesday: Day 3 (Beginner's Calendar)

Hey y'all!
 
Phew, I am pooped from the workout today. Okay, not true. But. I am feeling kinda sore and I figure Cassey is telling the truth when she says Sore Today, Strong Tomorrow so I'll get over it. Today on the Beginner's Calendar:

Wake up and do 10 roll-ups 
 Fat Burning Cardio Warmup
Total Body Pilates with Ana Caban 

And they are complete! I've done the Fat Burning Cardio Warmup before, but I never did the total body vid so that was neat to try out. I also was going to shower tonight but I'll shower after working out tomorrow morning so I'm fresh for work. I'm sure my co-workers and customers will appreciate that.

I was off work today so I pretty much lounged around and watched T.V. and then worked out at night... That was today in a nutshell.

I will say that diet-wise, I think that that, besides lack of time for workout, is my main concern on never being able to fully be fit. I do live at my parent's right now (which is why I don't post any videos yet) and I really am restricted to the food they bring in. Yes, I could buy my own groceries but for a college kid who's just trying to move out and save money at the moment? I'm not about to spend my money in that way.

I am proud of today though; I really drank a lot of water and I haven't been drinking my water so score 1 for me today on the water-front!

No worries, Austin will take care of that for me. Today was a pretty short post but not too much happened today... Oh well.
